A co-host is someone who has access to an Airbnb property’s account and helps the host to manage bookings, greet guests upon arrival, check the property and carry out all the other tasks associated with running a successful Airbnb business.
It can be a friend, partner, family member, or anyone else the host trusts. The host can add a co-host to a listing by navigating to their listing’s Calendar on Airbnb and selecting ‘Manage Listing’ from the left-hand side of the page.
The Host and Co-host must come to a private agreement about how much of the co-host's earnings get to keep. In practice, this is usually between 10-20%. Airbnb does not handle disputes between hosts and co-hosts.
Some companies offer professional co-hosting services as a percentage fee of property earnings. These agreements are entered into between the host and the private company.
