How to pitch a story/guide/how-to - to Money Savings Advice

There are a few steps that we need to go through before we publish your guest post;

1 - email your guest post to guestpost@rmmdigital.com

2 - explain the post in a detailed summary of why you think this guide/story/how-do is relevant and will benefit our audience

3 - within your summary put emphasis on the benefits of the post.

Things to consider when writing a guest post

Please make sure you have read, understood and followed our editorial guidelines, these are very important.  We write about financial products and services, but we do not offer financial advice, this is a must!

Please make sure you have linked to external sources so it is easy for us to fact-check and make sure these links are informative and not to a purchase product or service.

What happens if we publish your article

If we publish your article, firstly congratulations this is great news!  Before we publish your article it will go through our in-house style team where we might make a few small changes.

Before we publish your article, we will contact you to provide us with a bio (one paragraph is fine) and a picture.  Your name will be added to the top of the page and your bio will be added to the bottom of the article.

If you constantly write for us, your profile and social media links can (if you chose) be added to our writers.moneysavingsadvice.co.uk site.

Authors are free to share and republish the full text of the guest post anywhere one week after it has been published.  However, we ask for a link back and a mention of the original post on Money Savings Advice.

After we have published the guest post on Money Savings Advice, it will also be extensively shared across our social profiles and you welcome to comment and share across your social profiles.

Sometimes we say ‘no’

As you can probably imagine, we receive lots of guest post enquiries and sometimes we do have to say ‘no’.  Please don’t take this personally and don’t be discouraged to present new articles.  Because we operate in the financial sector we have to be careful about what we write about and sometimes guest posts haven’t followed our editorial guidelines or best practices.

To submit a guest post or query, or if you have questions, email guestpost@rmmdigital.com
